                          Program Description

The MGA Endoscopic Education Program Committee has been formed with the mission of providing practical, evidence-based lectures and seminars to practicing gastroenterologists and GI fellows in New England who may not have the opportunity to attend more distant and extended national conferences. This lecture series covers a broad range of topics in endoscopy, hepatology, and gastroenterology.

The sixth annual post-graduate course will provide a modern update on the diagnosis and management of viral hepatitis, steatohepatitis and autoimmune hepatitis with a clinical focus.

                             Program Objectives

As a result of participating in this program, learners should be able to: -

  1. Incorporate the updated 2018 guidelines on the Treatment of Patients With Chronic Hepatitis B into clinical practice
  2.  Effectively utilize the 2018 AASLD guidelines in the assessment and diagnosis of patients with suspected fatty liver disease
